what color should i paint my 1974 dodge dart swinger?

i am 15 and just bought my first car a 1974 dodge dart swinger and was wondering what to paint it. i know that the were originally mainly a bright orange or green but wanted to paint it a different color. i was going to go with a black but am undecided.

Um, actually most of them were painted pretty dull colors originally. These cars were bought mostly by older people who didn't appreciate orange and lime green. I was around when these cars were originally on the street and I never saw an orange or lime
