I have a 1998 Dodge Neon with frequent spark plug misfire problems. Does anyone else have this?

My mechanic tells me that Dodge Neons have problems with the spark plugs misfiring a lot. I hate it because it makes my service engine light go on even when I have brand new spark plugs. I'm just curious if anyone else has this type of problem with

Spark plugs are only one part of the ignition system. If you have brand new spark plugs that are gapped to the correct setting and you still get a misfire, replace the spark plug wires. Because of the heat under the hood, they do go bad. They get brittle,
